America's Political Parties and Political System today

Today the American Political system is in shambles. The reason I believe this system has gone on a downward spiral is one reason and that is political parties. (e.g. Democrats, Republicans, Tea Party, Independents and others.)

The political parties today have taken hold of the American Political System by the throat.. They have taken control of this great nation and now are not being the politicians that they should be. They are not looking out for the greater good of the nations people. The Political Parties are going to be the fall of the country but it starts with the POLITICIANS that are in the parties because all they want is the money from the special interests and PAC's who have more power than their constituents.

It sickens me how power can corrupt the good spirit of a new politician who actually wants to do good work for the country but then falls astray when money and election contributions come knocking at their door. We as a country democrat, republican, independent, tea partier, green party, and any other political facet you belong need to stand up to your representatives and senators and say WE WANT A CHANGE IN POLITICS TODAY!

We want you all to do what is right for the people, not what is right for your wallet or purse! We need someone who actually cares about US the great people of the United States of America, who wants to make life better for the people living here and abroad.

We want you so called politicians who are like Former President Abraham Lincoln said "For the PEOPLE, By the PEOPLE, and Of the PEOPLE!. But I truly believe they don't understand that they work for US and not for them. They need to do what is right by Americans. The main things I believe all Americans want are:

     1. Jobs brought back to the United States not outsourced to other countries for their cheap unethical labor.
     2. For ALL American troops to pull out of Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
     3. For the national debt to be ELIMINATED and stop borrowing money from our "enemy" CHINA.
     4. For the middle class to get more tax cuts and the rich get taxes raised by a minor amount.
     5. For the Senate and House of Representatives to pass legislation not filled with pork barrel spending, and loaded down with earmarks.
     6. For our country to have a surplus for the first time in 10 years.

But for all of this to be accomplished we need our Congress to do something that will be non-partisan which allows for the country to be even keeled and allows for the country to progress.

What is Marriage?

Marriage has two definitions one that has a religious connotation and another that has legal connotation. The definition of marriage that has a religious backing is that marriage is between a man and woman and it is a Holy Union or Holy Covenant blessed by God. The most common legal definition of marriage is between a man and a woman and they have certain tax breaks when filing with the IRS at the end of their fiscal year.

My belief is that marriage should be between men and women not two men or two women. The reason being is that the word marriage is derived from the judeo-christian belief of God and the United States Constitution clearly states a separation of Church and State.

Since the Constitution has the separation of Church and State they should not call marriages, marriages because that is indoctrinating one set of beliefs from one religon. Since we cannot cross the two we should call all "marriages", unions and that can be between men and women, men and men, and women and women, with all the legal tax breaks of a "marriage".

I don't believe anyone should be discriminated against for their sexual orientation but should leave religion out since it is banned by our Constitution. All people should be created equal as our founding fathers stated in the Declaration of Independence. Which means that all people should be able to love who they want, when they want, and how they want. The government should not have a say in that but in the legalities that are involved in having a union.

King of Pop passes at age 50

On July 25th 2009 Michael Joseph Jackson ,age 51, died of a cardiac arrest in his rented Los Angeles Mansion. Michael Jackson was one of the greatest musicans of all time. Jackson selling over 40 million records for his hit song Thriller. Michael Jackson started his career at a very young age being the lead singer of the world famous band The Jackson's later the Jackson 5. The person who found the great musician was his personal physican Dr. Conrad Murray.

Although his personal physician, Conrad Murray, said he found Mr. Jackson in his room, not breathing but with a faint pulse.Murray said  that he administered CPR to no avail. Jackson was treated by paramedics at his home, but was pronounced dead at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. While initial reports discussed the possible role of painkillers in Jackson's death attention later turned to the medications he reportedly took for insomnia, most notably the anesthetic propofol (Diprivan). On August 28, 2009, the Los Angeles County Coroner declared Jackson's death a homicide caused by the combination of drugs in his body. The death of this legend was a shock to everyone.

Mr. Michael Jacksons death was a complete and utter shock to the world. Michael Jackson's death took over the television, radio, and internet for over three weeks. Jackson's death was such a sad time for the world that the Iraq war, Politics, were put on hold and Michael's life was idolized by all.

Post Graduation

While looking back and reading this blog post I just remember all of those times I had a some much fun and adventures with all my friends care free and enjoying life. I now can say remember when to my friends that we have now gone on to that the time where I have to start to learning the basics of life and forgetting the days I spent in public school that just flew by.

I remember my first day of 6th grade getting up at 5:30 in the morning so excited for school. I was like I am half way there, school so far had been a breeze. So as I marched into my first period Language Arts class  with Ms.Alexander as my teacher I started my school year. The school year was easy, grades everything about Marshwood Jr. High seemed easy. So as I entered my 7th and 8th grade years they blew by with the meeting of new friends and the loss of old ones just passing by. I was keeping my grades up A's and B's as usual. Then my whole life change the summer leading into Marshwood High, I got some more new friends and I was president of the Seacoast Area Youth Council. of 36 members and growing.

So as I stepped foot through the door of high school I was met with challenge that forever molded me into the man I am becoming. I have now since graduated from that place called Marshwood High School where I learned so much but not really (haha), at the same time. I have learned so much but I know there is still a bunch more to figure out about who and what I am and where I want to go. I know now that I have to focus on getting into the Airforce and moving my life on from there forward so I will definitely keep you updated.
